Durango Rental Rules
1. General Conduct
• Guests must treat the property with care and respect.
• Loud or disruptive behavior that disturbs neighbors is not allowed.
2. Cleanliness
• Guests must keep the property reasonably clean and dispose of all trash in designated receptacles.
• Any spills or stains should be cleaned immediately to avoid permanent damage.
3. Departure Requirements
• Guests must complete the following before departure:
Remove all trash and place it in designated bins.
Wash used dishes or load and run the dishwasher.
Strip all beds used and leave sheets, pillowcases, and towels in front of the washer.
4. Door Locks and Security
• The property is equipped with smart locks for the front door.
• To secure the house before leaving, manually lock the side door from the inside and use the front door for entry and exit.
5. Parking
• Guests must park only in designated areas. Parking on lawns or blocking driveways is not permitted.
6. Prohibited Activities
• Parties, large gatherings, and events are strictly prohibited.
• Illegal activities or use of the property for unlawful purposes is not allowed.
7. Fireworks and Open Flames
• Fireworks, candles, or any open flames (other than in designated fireplaces or grills) are not permitted.
8. Septic System
• Only toilet paper should be flushed. No feminine products, wipes, or other items should be disposed of in the toilet.
9. Use of Appliances and Amenities
• Guests must use appliances, furniture, and amenities as intended.
• Damaged or broken items must be reported to the Homeowners immediately.
10. Fireplace Use
• Indoor and outdoor fireplaces are to be used responsibly.
11. Barbecue/Grill Use
• Outdoor grills must be used responsibly and cleaned after use. Do not use grills near flammable materials.
12. Furniture and Decorations
• Furniture and decorations should not be moved or rearranged.
13. Outdoor Areas
• Guests must respect the surrounding nature and avoid disturbing wildlife.
• Trash and food must not be left outside, as it may attract animals.
14. Weather-Related Precautions
• Guests should monitor local weather conditions and take necessary precautions during their stay.
15. Children’s Safety
• Guests are responsible for supervising children at all times. The property is not childproofed, so extra precautions should be taken.
16. Damages
• Guests will be held financially responsible for any damages beyond normal wear and tear.
17. Insurance and Liability
• Guests are encouraged to obtain travel insurance, as the homeowners are not liable for personal injuries, loss, or damage during the stay.
18. No Subletting
• Guests are not permitted to sublet or assign the rental to another party without explicit permission.
19. Guest Signatory Responsibility
• The guest signatory is responsible for ensuring all members of the rental party comply with these rules.
20. Violation of Rules
• Failure to follow these rules may result in eviction without a refund and additional charges for damages, cleaning, or rule violations.
